Description Grower Cultural Information
This RHS-award-winning, Scottish-bred selection produces low, spreading clusters of succulent foliage. Sturdy stems of lovely, dainty, multi-petaled blooms rise 8 - 10”. The flowers appear in pure shades of red, pink, orange, yellow and occasionally white. First bloom time is May-June, with repeat flowering in late Summer-early Fall.

Lewisia is an American native named for Captain Meriwether Lewis. The Corp of Discovery (a.k.a. the Lewis & Clark expedition), commissioned by President Thomas Jefferson, collected the genus, called “bitterroot” by indigenous people, and brought it home for study.
Mature Height: 8 - 10"
