Emerald Coast Growers
Emerald Coast Growers, one of the industry’s largest suppliers of ornamental grass liners, also produces a wide variety of perennial starter plants and specialty plants.
Founded in 1991 by Dave Babikow, Emerald Coast’s headquarters are in Pensacola, Florida, with production facilities in Lancaster and Florida. The Lancaster facility has 50,000 square feet of inter-connected greenhouses, which are used for production of cool weather grasses such as Carex, Festuca, and Calamagrostis, many seed perennials, and a hellebore program. A recently installed trial garden highlights new varieties, as well as some tried and true.
The registration fee for this optional tour is $80 for PPA members and $110 for non-members. The fee includes coach transportation and lunch at Conestoga House and Gardens.
